Dr. Britta Gauthier PT, DPT

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Britta is inspired by a family line of women in medicine. She grew up observing these gifts in caring for others, and found her own calling in Pilates-based and pelvic health rehabilitation. Britta is grateful for incredible mentorship in these areas, and has developed a holistic approach to care through numerous trainings. She believes in actively listening to her patients, and together developing a plan of care that is meaningful and joyful.

Britta has weaved movement into her life since childhood, including soccer, running, and yoga. She played two years of Division III soccer at New York University, then transferred home to UMN Twin Cities for a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Her love of big cities led her to Chicago, where she earned her Doctorate of PT at Northwestern University. She started her career with a passion for cyclists, and is bike fitting certified through BikePT. She also taught indoor cycling classes for 8+ years.

Britta utilizes manual therapy to help relax tension in the body and restore mobility, alongside functional strength training. She performs soft tissue, joint, and visceral mobilization, dry needling, and cupping. She loves to educate and to promote self awareness, so that patients develop the tools to heal themselves.

Britta enjoys snuggling with her puppy Ely, a namesake for her favorite spot on earth. Her and her partner’s families both have cabins on Lake Vermilion, and they look forward to annual summer trips to the BWCA. She loves XC skiing, travel, and sipping oat milk lattes in the morning.
