Meagan recognizes that a patient is not just a number, but an individual with specific needs and goals tailored to their life. She is dedicated to providing an inclusive, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach in order to best fit a patient’s needs while upholding their autonomy. Her favorite part about physical therapy is educating individuals about their body and finding what movements best fit to them.
Meagan earned her undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology as well as her Doctorate in physical therapy from The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Since then, she has also obtained her certification in blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy and professional bike fitting to optimize rehab and performance. Meagan has a strong clinical experience with varying orthopedic conditions, all levels of athletes, vestibular, and concussion treatment.
Believing that patients deserve the highest quality care, Meagan completed her post-doctoral, orthopedic residency program with Evidence in Motion for specialized training in manual therapy and orthopedic conditions. Meagan also continues to support and educate further doctor of physical therapy students through clinical instructing.
In her free time, Meagan enjoys sampling Minneapolis’ many coffee shops, bonfires with family/friends, and winning cribbage against her wife. She stays active throughout the four seasons of MN with running, soccer, XC skate skiing, and hiking with her pups Benny and Nona.
