Dr. Celine Valentin is a board-certified Sports and Orthopedic Doctor of Physical Therapy, a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is certified both in bike fitting and dry needling. She has extensive experience working with both individual and team sports athletes.
Dr. Valentin earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colorado and then completed a Sports Physical Therapy residency program at the University of Utah where she gained experienced with Utah Division I Athletics, the US Ski and Snowboard Team, Salt Lake City Starts, Real Monarchs, and USA Paraclimbing. Following residency, Dr. Valentin worked at the University of Montana teaching in the Doctoral Physical Therapy program, treating Division I UM athletes, and also treating community members out of the UM clinic. Prior to obtaining her doctorate, Dr. Valentin earned a Master of Science degree at Montana State University in Exercise and Nutrition Science focusing in applied exercise physiology and biomechanics research, and also worked as a girl’s varsity high school soccer coach.
A former World Cup snowboarder, Dr. Valentin is currently a rotational provider for the US Ski and Snowboard team, traveling internationally to help treat athletes during competition and training. She is passionate about getting to know every patient as an individual and excels in post-operative care, return to sport rehabilitation, sport-specific strength & conditioning, and performance-based data collection and analysis. In her free time, Dr. Valentin enjoys backcountry snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, and hiking with her dog. She is here to keep you in Motion!
