Maggie Henjum

PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Maggie Henjum, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT is a physical therapist driven by clinical excellence, education, and building thoughtful, patient-centered healthcare. She is passionate about developing a broad and deep clinical skill set, understanding the full spectrum of treatment options, and staying at the forefront of emerging, evidence-informed practice. Maggie utilizes individualized, evidence-based care—including thrust and non-thrust manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education—to help patients achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes. She strongly believes in teaching self-management strategies that empower patients beyond the clinic walls.

Maggie earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado Denver, is board certified in orthopedics, and completed a fellowship in manual therapy through AAOMPT. She has contributed to textbooks and peer-reviewed journals in areas including spine care and backcountry medicine, and regularly teaches in DPT programs, residency and fellowship programs, and post-professional continuing education. A self-proclaimed science nerd, Maggie thrives at the intersection of clinical reasoning, research, and education.

Her clinical interests extend into high-performance and outdoor athletes. Maggie serves as medical staff for USA Ski & Snowboard, traveling internationally with Olympic-level athletes, while also caring for recreational athletes and individuals simply ready to heal and move better.

Maggie believes deeply in small, mission-driven healthcare—no fluff, patient-centered, and rooted in quality. She owns and operates physical therapy practices in Minnesota and Utah that emphasize boutique care and community connection. To support sustainable, ethical growth, she also owns a managed service organization (MSO) that centralizes back-office services for over 60 independently owned clinics across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Utah.

Outside of work, Maggie shares life with her incredible wife, two adventurous kids, an enthusiastic puppy and a sweet cat—who all fully support (and occasionally question) the joyful chaos that comes with her passion for healthcare, education, and the outdoors!
