Licensed Athletic Trainer | Trained STOTT Pilates Rehab Instructor
Courtney Parker is a licensed and certified athletic trainer and trained STOTT Pilates rehab instructor. As a healthcare professional, an athletic trainer specializes in the prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions related to physical activity, bridging the gap between medicine and high performance.
Courtney earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with minors in Nutrition and Dance, and her Master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Utah. During her graduate studies, she worked with Utah Division 1 Athletics, high school athletic programs, and dancers through the University’s School of Dance injury clinic. She also completed a year-long internship with Motion Utah, under the mentorship of owner Dr. Caralyn Baxter and high-performance specialist Dr. David Quamann, gaining hands-on experience in advanced orthopedic rehabilitation and high performance training.
Following graduation, Courtney pursued advanced post-graduate work in concussion management and neurological considerations in orthopedic rehabilitation, working in a specialized concussion clinic focused on treating complex, long-term cases. As a trained STOTT Pilates Rehab Instructor, she integrates movement-based Pilates principles into her rehabilitation approach to help patients restore optimal movement patterns, stability, and strength. Additionally, she has completed further education in pelvic floor rehabilitation and its integration into athletic performance and functional movement.
Courtney has a strong background in working with youth and high school athletes, emphasizing athletic development, injury risk reduction, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. She also provides medical coverage for local athletic events, supporting the community through on-site injury assessment and care.
Originally from Boulder, Colorado, Courtney grew up a competitive dancer, which continues to shape her passion for human movement and performance. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her hiking, snowboarding, running, or golfing in the mountains she loves. She is here to keep you in Motion!
