Dave Quammen ATC is the Director of High Performance and Rehab at Motion UT. His interests include strength and power development in youth and elite athletes, movement re-education following injury, return to sport testing, and neurocognitive aspects of orthopedic rehabilitation.
Along with his clinical work, Dave is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Rehabilitation Science with an emphasis in Neuroscience and Motor Learning at the University of Utah. He is the former head Athletic Trainer for the 2018 Olympic Snowboard Halfpipe Team and clinical specialist for all US Ski and Snowboard Athletes focusing on post-surgical rehabilitation. Dave has served as a guest lecturer for the national US SKi and Snowboard Return to Snow conference, the Medical Emergencies in Skiing and Snowboarding conference, and at the University of Utah. Dave is also a former instructor at the College of Saint Scholastica and has multiple publications exploring the biomechanics of ACL injury. When he is not in-clinic, Dave is an avid backcountry snowboarder and amateur mountain bike racer. He is here to help keep you in Motion.
