Caralyn Baxter

PT, DPT

Caralyn Baxter DPT is the owner and lead physical therapist at Motion UT. Her interests include orthopedic rehabilitation, youth and elite return-to-sport rehabilitation, neurocognitive approaches to performance training, hormonal considerations in female athlete rehabilitation and performance, and injury risk reduction and prevention.

Cara is the former head physical therapist for the 2018 Olympic Freeski Halfpipe Team and the former Regional Director at the Kutcher Clinic for Sports Neurology. She has worked with rehabbing athletes from the National Football League (NFL), the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Baseball (MLB), United States Figure Skating (USFS), and United States Ski and Snowboard. She served as the vice chair on the performance working group of the International Congress for Athlete Brain Health and has multiple publications examining shoulder mechanics in the overhead athlete.

Cara is a past elite figure skater and now is an avid backcountry skier and amateur mountain bike racer. She’s here to help keep you in Motion.
