PT, DPT, Resident Candidate
Josh received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. John’s University where he was able to continue his athletic career in football. After completing his time at SJU, Josh went on to The College of St. Scholastica where he received a Masters in Exercise Physiology as well as his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While in DPT school Josh worked as a strength and conditioning coach with a local Duluth high school. This was where his passion for working with athletes grew. As a former athlete himself, Josh understands the physical and mental components of competing at a high level. Josh enjoys utilizing his strength and conditioning skills in his physical therapy treatments because it shows patients new aspects of their abilities that they never thought they could have done. With his treatments Josh strives to provide evidence backed treatments, promote patient autonomy, and create a welcoming environment for every patient.
Outside of the clinic Josh has a passion for the outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, hiking, or camping. If it’s outside, he’ll be doing it. Josh has grown to have a new addiction to golf, thanks to his fiancée whether she’s happy about it or not. Josh also enjoys spending time with his family with 7 nephews and 1 niece and another nephew on the way, it can sure be a lot of fun.
