Rick Mewes

PT, OCS

Rick began his career in orthopedic and sports medicine private practice, then shifted to outpatient PT for major health systems Allina and MHealth Fairview. He spent the last 12 years in leadership as the Director of Rehabilitation for MHealth Fairview, with accountability for provider continuing education, clinical residencies/fellowships, clinical specialization, and a patient home exercise program called PTRx.

Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. John’s University (MN) and completed his degree in physical therapy at St. Catherine University. He has a passion for teaching and is Adjunct Faculty at St Catherine’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where he teaches manual therapy, manipulation, and orthopedics. Clinical interests include spine care, general orthopedics, and general health and wellness.

Rick lives in Minneapolis with his wife and three daughters. You can find him jogging along Minnehaha Creek, playing co-ed soccer across the Cities, skiing the slopes of Colorado, and spending time with family and friends.
